“My fitness journey began when I decided to take serious action in looking after my body, I felt that it wasn't functioning as it should - I had pain all over especially on my back, could hardly stand for long periods of time without triggering the pain. I started out with a basic programme and within a short period of time I could already feel the small differences - I fell in love with weight training. After some time, I started on a powerlifting programme which taught me even more, pushing me to want to pursue a career change - one where I could help others feel the same benefits I did through exercise.

Exercise - whether it be at the gym or in nature, has also pulled me through low moments of depression, CPTSD and anxiety. I've learnt to really connect my mind to my body, listening to it - making sure every breath counts.

Just as I have experienced, I can't wait to see you find joy in moving your body- building your confidence, self efficacy, strength and mobility.”
