Are you escaping or creating ?

Monday-Friday is crazy at work, you’re tired, you’ve not had any time for yourself, there’s someone at work who’s getting under your skin & you and your partner have been bickering.

Do you..

Grab a bottle of wine/chocolate & sit in front of the TV numbing/head to the pub and drink the feelings away, waking up the next day full of regret and anxious Monday feelings

OR

Slow down, breathe intentionally, ask yourself what you really need (rest, a good workout, to see a friend, time in nature, a therapy session, pamper time) & then do that? Waking up the next day feeling proud of yourself for responding to your needs rather than reacting

It is NORMAL to...

Turn to the TV
Grab a bottle of wine
Eat a tablet of chocolate
Chain smoke

However, these are all ways we escape rather than to create the reality we want & deserve

Does this ring true for you? I’ve been there & I promise feeling the feelings is F****** hard BUT, it is always always, better than escaping. (In the long run!)
