How I Recenter when it all feels a bit too much

I’ve had a rough couple of weeks. Some bad news sent me into a flashback lasting almost 2 weeks 😅 I could feel that I regressed into my child state but for love nor money could I pull myself out!

‘I feel like my world is on fire’ was what I answered when a loved one asked to describe how I felt

Things that have helped me get back to a present day, centred space:

- Yoga (on the days where this felt too much, I just laid there, cried and focused on my breathing)

- This too shall pass (one of my favourite sayings to remind myself that whatever it is, it is TEMPORARY)

- Positive self talk (I reminded myself as often as possible that although I don’t see the solution now, I will be able to tackle this, just like I’ve tackled everything else- give yourself EVIDENCE)

- Bigger Picture (Reminding myself that although this feels like the end of the world, I’ve tackled bigger fish and I can move forward from this!)

-Cuddles (Where my single ladies at?! Get yourself a dog 🐶, they give the best affections.)

- Call a friend/fam (Someone who will remind you of the boss bitch you are and leave you feeling like a queen! Sometimes we forget who we are and what we’ve accomplished, everyone needs to be praised from time to time)

I know the energy has been pretty heavy for the last couple of weeks, with many struggling. My inbox is always open, reach out, you’re not alone 💜
