Do you suck at personal admin?
Always doing things for others, running a house, smashing it at work, being there for your mates but then when it comes to things for yourself, never finding the time to get the things done that keep you feeling well?
This is super common and something I come across a lot with the women I work with 💜
They are often smashing every area of life, but when it comes to their own wishes, appointments, personal admin, it’s a real struggle.
I can put my hand up & say, I’ve been there myself, so I know how it feels & how frustrating it can be (or, not frustrating at all because often we are completely oblivious to this trait until someone points it out 😉) BUT, I’m here to give you the hope, that this can change for you too!
Creating a vision
Before I had a vision, I had no reason to prioritise myself. Because I was never looking at the bigger picture- I was always focused on the specific task that ‘needed’ to be done. Whether that was work commitments, helping others, cleaning or staying up late on the phone to friends.
What I eventually realised was that by being there for everyone else, I wasn’t being there for myself. This left me with feeling very sorry for myself, often saying “I just don’t have the time for myself.”
Does this sound familiar?
Of course, I was CHOOSING to prioritise everyone and everything else over myself but I had convinced myself everything else was more important than me!
The truth is, you can’t be your best self for others if you’re not there for yourself FIRST.
So this weekend, I challenge you to think & write about how different your life would be, if you started to make these changes.
When you start to feel excited by the impact this would have on your life, you’ve just found the beginning of your vision! Keep going & then make it happen 💜
