Preparing Your Body and Mind For Winter

Winters coming… how are you feeling? 👀

I don’t know about you but I always dread this time of year 😞 the cold, lack of light and isolation really gets me !

The key to getting through winter is to PLAN ahead of time..

What can you do NOW to make the next few months easier?

September is the perfect time to focus on your eating and get into a routine of movement. Whether that’s getting yourself a PT or committing to get to the gym- NOW is the time to start your structure.

Here are some things I’m doing..

- x2 PT sessions a week (yes, even trainers have a trainer!)
- x1 solo session a week / train with a friend
- Walk to work (40 mins) atleast twice per week
- Meal plan, I use @rnsmeals Mon-Friday for lunches and dinners (discount code ALMAWHITE15)
- Magnesium baths x2 per week
- Cold shower atleast X1 per week
- Nature time over the weekend
- Making weekend plans to see friends
- Structured bed times and wake up times

& last but not least … reminding myself that ‘it shall pass’ whether that’s a bad mood, a difficult situation or something else, everything has a beginning and an end, nothing is permanent 💜 🌍
